UNDER THE RADAR: Quietly Saving Lives – Ours and Theirs
A Pitch Video for a Telus Storyhive Documentary
A horse lover as a child, Radar Goddard-Debski has become the horse rescuer of today! This Championship Jouster and Medieval competitor is truly a Knight when it comes to saving the lives of people and the very horses that she competes with. If you end up with COVID in Calgary and have to be transported to hospital, Radar may be the one looking after you. However as much as she cares about you, her true love is horses. With Jousting and other revenue producing events cancelled, we follow Radar as she gets creative with her latest project, ‘Save a Horse, Be a Cowboy’. A program aimed at training film and television actors to ride and interact with horses properly. Will it be enough for her to continue to rescue, feed and care for her 30 horses and the land that supports them?
